Taiwan Family Trip, Day 2

Day 2 post for Second post of July x)
Day 1 post is here :)

-
Woke up late that day, so we just decided to go to Din Tai Fung for lunch since everyone has been saying it's very yummy and it's worth the queue.
Since there were nine of us and taxis only accepts 4 people max, 2 of my aunts accompanied my grandparents in the cab and the rest of us took the subway there~
Cute walls inside!! The lights actually moves so from far it kinda looks like it's raining :)
We didn't know that we got off the subway a stop earlier and had to walk quite a bit xD
Saw this cute cafe across the street! I want to visit it the next time I go to Taiwan~
I think they said they only had a table for nine on the second floor but it was inconvenient for my grandparents so we decided to go to another similar restaurant behind.
I forgot to take a pic of the other restaurant's signboard x.x
It was the Dumpling Festival season~
 Aunt and grandparents :)
Lunch! :)
The food was so-so only... looks are deceiving right?? haha
First drink I bought from a bubble tea shop xD because of the Taiwan pearls incident..
:D
When everyone went back to the apartment to rest, my sister and I went down to this mall and walked around.. and I look so odd because there were too many people looking xD

After that, we went to Xi Men Ding~!
We found the shop the taxi driver recommended to us!
It's really good as you can see, even if it's raining, there's a lot of people standing around to eat the noodles :O
Then.. we went to walk & shop around the district~

Seems like it's not really good to go to in a big family because there was this steam boat place we wanted to have dinner at later didn't have enough seats for nine people.
But anyway! because of that, my sister, mom and I could go shop for what we want only to be taken back to our apartment :D
Food we bought back! :) Me and sis got sandwich and drink from Starbucks, mom got mos burger and the cup noodles and doughnuts were to share~~
My super hearty and yummy sandwich :D
Doughnuts from Mister Donut :D

Lastly, the things I bought from Xi Men Ding :)
Shorts for like $20 which was the same price & quality as shorts from Bugis Street in SG so.. I don't personally think the clothes in Taiwan are very cheap..
Card stickers and temporary tattoos :)
At least, these were cheap. They were going for like 5 card stickers for TWD 100 and 4 temp tats for TWD 100 :D

That's all for Day 2!
Good night ~ x
